THYME BOOKSTORE â—½ TIPS

FISH OUT OF WATER will always be a special book to me. I completed this novel in close to six months, which is record timing. But the thing I remember the most was that each night I went into my office to write, it was like a date with God. I always pray before I start writing—or at least, I try to remember to pray—and God would meet me there. I felt His presence, and the words flowed freely. Perhaps because I used a personal experience as a plot point. There were many tears and laughs, too.
