End of Summer Hues

August is here already and while some of us (me!) are ready for fall, others of us realize the heat is still on (also me!). I already have fall candle burning, but the temps tell me I must keep wearing the hues of summer…
Black – Do you wear black in the summer? I love it, against lighter hues. This vintage wash oversized shirt is a favorite – it came in a pack of three from Amazon. And this black cotton skirt I have worn all summer, with different tops.
Brown – I have two cotton tops I’ve worn this summer, one is a gauze top (I bought three colors!) from Old Navy, and the other one is from The Loft. Brown goes with just everything, and you can add so many cute accessories, too!
Gingham – My favorite purchase for spring/summer this year was these pants from Amazon! They are cute will all sorts of tees, and they look like a skirt but they’re trousers – and they’re just so classy!
Tan or Neutral – Another one of those oversized tees in that same pack, from Amazon! And a light blouse I found at a discount store. It’s obvious. But neutrals are always part of a well-stocked closet, right?
Denim – Light denim against neutral shorts are a pretty look to wear dressed up or down! It’s hard to find lightweight denim, but keep looking until you do! I think I found this one at Walmart!
Multi colors – I saw these fun and colorful pants at a market and knew I wanted them! Did I say they are fun? A white tee goes with them, and they make me feel happy when I wear this market find…
Navy – I saw this sweater on Amazon and fell in love with it. I’m wearing it with my barrel jeans, and red loafers. But can’t you just see it on into fall, too? I can! It’s cozy and fits so well…
Pale yellow or green – I love this sweater with light wash denim, and black accessories. I feel like black accessories elevate the look, and makes me feel dressed up when I’m really not… And green is just cool...all the time!
Blue – Just the prettiest blouse, found on Amazon. It just speaks happiness, and I love the smocking. Looks good with denim shorts or pants. And it’s so great for end of summer color!
