I found the prettiest butterfly (fake) bushes in TJ Maxx that I added to some pots out back, and I love them for this season!
Got any buttons you’ve collected, or have you seen jars of buttons for sale? I recently bought a jar and embellished a t-shirt dress with them…it was fun and easy and turned out cute!
I have a trifle dish that was my mom’s and since I’m sure I won’t make a layered trifle in it, I saw where a little moss, some rocks and an air plant can create the prettiest planter!
A friend gave me a three month subscription to a bulb in a pot and I have loved it. It’s from Harry & David.
Almond butter is so easy to make and so incredibly delicious. Two cups of roasted almonds into the processor. Blend and stop to wipe down sides, and keep doing this until the mixture is creamy like butter. Add two pinches of salt and blend again. You’re done.
I’ve done this so many times and I love it. Put together several looks using one of your favorite tops or bottoms, and then snap some photos. Store them in your phone. Use them for inspiration when you don’t know what to wear.
A really good breakfast or mid-morning snack or lunch is this: a dollop of that almond butter, blackberries, sliced almonds and cinnamon sugar pretzel sticks. With a glass of OJ. Perfection.
If you have tweens or young teens in your circle of influence, and you need a gift, see if you can find Needoh cubes. I don’t know why, but they’re a hit and the kids love them!
My niece told me about these large divided containers (they come in a two-pack) that she uses for her weekly veggies or salad ingredients. I bought them! I also use one for all the nuts. They’re awesome.
One never knows what one will find at the Dollar General, if one never stops in! I found the cutest light up mushrooms that I added to my shelves on the porch!
Tiny egg cartons, mini cupcake liners, some twine, and little snacks. The perfect treat for a meetup with friends, the best to-go and elevated snack box for yourself, and so cute and easy to put together!
This necklace, from Amazon. Maybe one of my favorite jewelry purchases this year. It simply goes with everything from a t-shirt to the prettiest of dresses. Grab one!
I haven’t worn eyeliner in forever until this…navy gel eyeliner from NYX. It adds a smoky eye effect and it glides on. You can then smudge it with a little eyeshadow. Try it!
This pack of three oversized t-shirts in neutral hues – They’re GREAT for casual or even with skirts, they’re the perfect colors, and wash up great! I’m glad I got them…from Amazon.
Fishermen sandals…in black…with a silver buckle…and a heel…from Walmart. Great shoe to finish the summer and wear on into the fall. I love mine so much.
