UNEARTHLY THING◽ ENCOURAGEMENT

I’ve noticed lately that the topic of God engaging in various activities has consistently come up in podcasts, church, and Bible reading. So, I’m pausing to consider: “What is God doing?” This seems like a good opportunity to write positive content about God, which excites me.
I don’t mean it disrespectfully at all. But I’m curious and eager to know more about my Heavenly Father.
I know God is in control of all things. And I remind myself of His many, many promises. I also know, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that He is good. I can testify to His goodness many times over. And His goodness is always timely.
That must mean God is working all the time. So, what is He doing, I mean actively doing right now, even as I write this?
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them"(Ephesians 2:10).
“Beforehand”…how exciting! Consequently, somewhere along the way in God’s timing, He prepared good works for me to walk in. This makes me feel loved and blessed by the Creator of the Universe. There’s the moon, the stars, meteors, and asteroids hurling through space, and then there’s little ole’ me God created, planned for, and is currently protecting and guiding. (Here’s where I would type hearts and smiley-faced emojis if it were appropriate.)
Then I heard this beautiful verse recently:
“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland” (Isaiah 43:19 NLT).
He’s already begun His work? Even more exciting. (Author’s note: I love when there are exclamation points in the Bible!)
This is one of my favorite verses because it shows God’s active involvement in my life. He has assessed my situation, concluding it was time to change something, and so He did. He already did, and I shouldn’t miss His working. He guides me through an easy-to-follow route (note the term “pathway”) through an unknown circumstance, my wilderness. And He creates provision in that dry wilderness wasteland. His work is amazing!
During my prayer time, I asked God to show me what else He is doing in my life, so here are just a few things He revealed to me. I get the feeling there is so much more, but these points melt my heart, make me feel loved, and so glad to be His child.

Healing is a big one for me. As a person plagued with chronic illness, I learned to ask God to heal me. I have great doctors, but I have witnessed God heal me in “unnatural” ways and have watched the wonders of His design for our bodies to heal themselves (here’s where I can testify to His goodness!).
Have you noticed God working in your life? Can you name a specific area? Won’t you join me in thanking and praising Him for His work in us?
I’m so grateful to God for all He does and has done in the lives of His children. He is truly an attentive and loving Father. He is good.
Blessings to you!
