Wanna know something pretty cool? My husband knows everything about me. He knows my quirks, my flaws, my failure and mistakes. He’s seen me at my worst and lowest moments. He’s been there through seasons of growth. He’s seen all of me – the good, the bad, and the ugly – and he still loves me.
That’s pretty cool, isn’t it?
That’s the beauty of those vows we said nearly fourteen years ago. We promised to be there for better or worse. We promised to grow with each other and stick together no matter what. It hasn’t always been easy.

I’m hard to live with sometimes. I allow my emotions to dictate my mood. I struggle with thought patterns that I’m trying to unlearn. I stress out about insignificant little things. I do annoying things that probably grate on my husband’s nerves when he’s had a long day at work. But despite all that, he still comes home to me and hugs me and kisses me every night. He confides in me and encourages me. He’s my best friend through thick and thin, and that’s such a beautiful thing.
I’m thankful to have married a man like that – one who takes his vows seriously and chooses love even when it’s hard. And I pray for each woman reading this. I don’t know your story or what you’ve been through in relationships, but I do know that you are worth all the love in the world. You are a precious treasure.
No matter your flaws or struggles or imperfections, you are a beloved daughter of the King. Even if everyone else walks away, know that He will always stay. He promises to love and cherish you, and that’s a promise He’ll always keep. He knows you inside and out and He loves you deeply. I pray you embrace that love today.
