A Rich Autumn

This season is the time to wear long sleeves and layers, and this year there are so many wonderful rich colors like burgundy, green, brown and red…and we’ve got some fresh inspiration for you all!
Cream textures with green – This jacket was on clearance in the summer at Maurice’s! I hardly ever step inside this store, but found this textured warm jacket I can wear when it’s cooler. And again, green looks so nice as an accessory! Grab a bandanna scarf…or two!
Denim and burgundy – I found some pinkish “sailor” jeans at Target and have had fun wearing them. They’re great for fall with dark denim and a rich burgundy bandanna, don’t you think? Oh, the possibilities with these jeans…
Caramel sweater – This is from Oxknit and look at the double belts! How fun. I love this for fall. Everything about it. It’s so cozy and comfy, yet elevated and beautiful. I added a simple blue handbag.
Taupe and red with denim – I grabbed this taupe sweater on clearance at Target…it’s great with a red scarf and denim. This sweater was a great travel piece on my recent trip. Love the detailed sleeves.
Zipper jacket with patterns and stripes – Have you heard of the Le Garage sale? It’s where tons of boutiques sell nice products at crazy prices. I found this pretty jacket and paired it with a patterned scarf, and a striped shirt from Zara. I like it! Jackets are awesome this season.
Waffle weave in maize with orange, gray and black – Maybe this looks summery and fallish, and it is! The t-shirt is a sunset against gray. But the waffle weave oversized shirt from Cloth and Steele is warm and a great jacket for coolish October weekends. It’s great if you live on the beach! Use my code MARCY15 to save!
All the greens – corduroy, dark and light…with navy – I found this corduroy jacket at the Le Garage sale as well, and I enjoyed pairing it with all shades and textures of green. Green is one of my favorite colors this fall!
Chocolate brown with yellow or green or taupe – If you’ve been aware of fashion, you know that chocolate brown is the it color this autumn, and it just goes with so many other shades. I think it’s such a rich color and makes me feel wonderful when I wear it. The pants are from Old Navy. They’re great!
Enter stores you don’t normally frequent, buy a piece like a jacket or an oversized shirt and then play with the pieces you have in your closet. Lay out combos and take pictures for inspiration all season long.
Fall is the beginning of cozy and cute…so go for it all…
and enjoy.
