Fun in Florence

Who knew that this tiny town had enough fun in it for a full afternoon...maybe even an entire day? We knew about the vineyard restaurant there and that was our focal point, but then we found so much more...

Downtown Florence, Texas is small, for sure. But the coffee shop there is so cute and is the perfect first stop...for fuel for the day.

On that small strip of the downtown we found two super cute clothing stores that we thoroughly enjoyed, as well as a grocery store, and a few other businesses we popped in. There was even a thrift store treasure house around the corner. I snagged a couple of items for a dollar each, because they had "too much inventory!"

Just a short distance from the downtown is Sasquatch Antiques, housed in an old church right next to a cemetery. It's worth the drive. Lots to see and consider buying...and the owners are super friendly.

We then drove to Farmers Common, the restaurant at the Florence Vineyard and the food was delicious. I tried a portabella burger! The view out back is pretty, too, and if you have the time...stroll the grounds!

Florence isn't far by car (about an hour) and it's fun to visit with a friend. Really fun!
